Product Release 7.2
Release Date: 11/26/2024
Updates Applicable to:
Advocate Review Application: reviews.tryadvocate.com
Advocate Lender Portal app.tryadvocate.com
The 7.2 Product Release introduces several enhancements and changes to the Advocate platform, aimed at improving functionality, streamlining workflows, and providing more clarity in compliance processes. Below is a detailed summary of the key updates across various features.
Generate Response
The Generate Response modal has been enhanced for greater flexibility and usability. Users can now access it from four specific locations, each with its own default view:
Generate Menu on Loan Overview Page:
All Active Policies are enabled by default.
Policies Selected on Loan Overview Page:
Only the selected Policies are enabled.
3-Dot Menu for a Policy on Loan Overview Page:
The specific Policy is enabled by default.
Checklist:
The Policy associated with the Checklist is enabled by default.
Core Features (Available from All Access Points):
Users can select/deselect any Policy on the Loan to include in the Generate Response Result.
Policies can be filtered by their Status or Insurance Contacts for better navigation.
Policy Status Split:
Active Policies:
Advocate: Reviewing Compliance
Broker: Pending Response
Broker: Follow Up
Lender: Assistance Requested
Approved
Inactive Policies:
Lender: Force Placed Required
Not Active
Additional Functionality:
Users can now generate a response for a single Policy on a Broker Follow Up or Retry Broker Follow Up email.
No structural or content changes have been made to the Generate Response modal in this release.
Approval Report
Changes to the Approval Report ensure cleaner and more relevant outputs:
Inactive Policies (Lender: Force Placed Required or Not Active) will no longer be included in the Approval Report.
Policy Scores for Inactive Policies remain unchanged, and users can still generate responses for these Policies if needed.
Coverage Summary
This release updates how certain Policy statuses impact the Coverage Summary and Missing Coverages:
Policies with a Not Active status:
These Policies are excluded from the Coverage Summary and Missing Coverages, effectively behaving as if they are deleted.
Policies with a Lender: Force Placed Required status:
All enabled/applying Rules and Perils are treated as 100% passing for the Coverage Summary and Missing Coverages.
Disabled Perils/not applied Rules are treated as Missing Coverage.
Force Placed Perils will be labeled as “Force Placed” in the Coverage Summary.
Key Behavior for Force Placed Perils:
If at least one Policy has a Peril enabled and is in the Lender: Force Placed Required status, the Peril will appear as Force Placed in the Coverage Summary.
If multiple Policies have the same Peril enabled for an Asset, the Force Placed status will override any other statuses (e.g., compliant, pending, or missing coverage).
Bulk Emails
The Bulk Email functionality has been updated for better alignment with Next Actions:
Policy Selection Restrictions:
Users can only select Policies for a Bulk Email if they share the same Next Action Type.
Example: Policies with Renewal Notice can only be bulk processed if they fall under the same Next Action Type (e.g., Renewal Notice 1 of 4 and Renewal Notice 2 of 4 are allowed).
Template Updates:
Bulk Email templates are now Next Action-specific for Broker Follow-Ups and Post-Expiration Notices.
The Renewal Notice bulk email template remains unchanged and applies to all Renewal Notice actions.
