Basic Navigation in the Advocate Platform

Welcome to Advocate! This guide provides a quick overview of how to navigate the platform so you can get oriented quickly and access the tools you need.


🧭 Top Navigation Toolbar

Once you log into the Advocate Platform, you’ll find the main navigation toolbar at the top of your screen. From here, you can access all primary sections of the platform, including dashboards, cases, tasks, risk profiles, and search tools.


📊 Main Dashboards & Sections

Each main section contains sub-tabs to help you easily access specific information or functionality:

Dashboard

Get a real-time snapshot of key metrics across tasks and cases.

  • Tasks Overview – See totals for open, flagged, overdue, and due-this-week tasks.

  • Cases Overview – Track open, new, renewal, and high-risk cases with overdue tasks.

  • Visual Trends – View task and case data over time with interactive charts.

Market

Dive into real-time market insights and performance metrics.

  • Advocate Market Indices – Track key insurance pricing and coverage trends.

  • Market Volatility – Visualize fluctuations in market conditions.

  • Carrier League Tables – Rank carriers based on exposure.

  • Broker League Tables – Rank brokerages by exposure.

  • FAQ – Frequently asked questions about market data.

Cases

Access and manage your case-related workflows.

  • My Cases – View only the cases assigned to you.

  • Subscribed – Cases you’ve subscribed to for updates.

  • All Cases – Complete list of cases your organization has access to.

Tasks

View and manage actionable work items.

  • My Tasks – Tasks assigned directly to you.

  • Subscribed – Tasks you're tracking or collaborating on.

  • Flagged – Tasks marked as high priority or requiring attention.

  • Completed - Tasks that have been completed.

Risk Profiles - Coming Soon

Explore and manage your insurance compliance programs and configuration data by risk tolerance.


🔍 Global Search

The Global Search bar is accessible from anywhere in the platform, allowing you to quickly find Cases using keywords such as:

  • Case ID

  • Loan Name


⚙️ Profile Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner to access personalization and session options:

  • Appearance Settings: Toggle between Light Mode, Dark Mode, or System mode to match your device.

  • Logout: End your session securely at any time.
