How to Manage your Team Metrics

Edited

The Dashboard tab offers a real-time, comprehensive snapshot of key metrics across your organization's tasks and cases. It provides quick visibility into workload distribution, status trends, and operational health, empowering users to make informed decisions and manage priorities effectively.

πŸ“ Tasks Overview

At the top left of the Dashboard, the Tasks Overview section gives you quick access to the following key task-related metrics:

  • Open Tasks: The total number of currently open tasks across your organization. This provides a high-level view of ongoing workload.

  • Due This Week: Tasks that are due in the current calendar week, helping users prioritize short-term deadlines.

  • Flagged: Tasks that have been flagged for special attention, indicating they may need urgent or elevated focus.

  • Overdue: A count of all tasks that are past their due date, spotlighting where attention may be needed to bring things back on track.

A line chart titled Tasks by Due Date visually displays the distribution of tasks over time, highlighting volume trends and any spikes in activityβ€”useful for understanding patterns and planning workload allocation.

πŸ“‚ Cases Overview

The lower portion of the dashboard focuses on case metrics and includes:

  • Open Cases: A direct count of all cases that are currently open.

  • Cases with 5+ Overdue Tasks: A key metric for surfacing high-risk or high-complexity cases where multiple overdue tasks may indicate blockage or need for escalation.

  • New Cases: Recently added cases, providing visibility into current intake activity.

  • Renewal Cases: A subset of cases tagged as renewals, helping teams focus on client retention and contract lifecycle management.

To the right, a Cases by Status bar chart breaks down all cases by type and current status:

  • Open (blue)

  • Approved (green)

  • Draft (gray)

  • Deactivated (orange)

This visual summary enables users to quickly assess case distribution by both purpose (New vs. Renewal) and progress stage.
