How to Use In-App Notifications

The new in-app notifications keep you on top of everything that matters in Advocate. From task assignments to mentions to important case updates, your notifications are now organized in one centralized place - so you never miss a critical update.


What is the Notification Inbox?

The Notification Inbox is your personal activity feed within Advocate. It brings together all task updates, case changes, and mentions related to your work, helping you respond faster and stay aligned with your team.

With the Notification Inbox, you can:

  • View all notifications in one place

  • See what’s new at a glance with the unread badge

  • Quickly scan updates with clear timestamps and summaries

  • Mark notifications as read individually or all at once

  • Filter notifications by read/unread status


Where to Find Your Notifications

You can access the Notification Inbox from anywhere in Advocate:

  1. Click the Notifications icon in the top navigation bar.

  2. The unread counter will show how many new notifications you have.

  3. Select the icon to open your inbox and review your updates.


Types of Notifications You’ll Receive

Notifications are automatically generated based on activity in tasks and cases you’re involved with.
